5 Questions After Winterfest 2017

The latest Kennett Winterfest has come and gone! As is the custom, my husband and I had a great time with our friends, enjoying the festive atmosphere and one of the best traditions in town! That said, I have 5 questions for you:

1. What was up with that weather?!
I swear, it was warmer than some FALL festivals! Not complaining. But it was definitely the first time I went to Winterfest without a hat and gloves, or even a coat, for goodness' sake! Some festival attendees wore dresses or open-toed shoes. I couldn't believe it! I now dub this event "Winter"fest. It's one for the history books for sure.

2. What was your favorite beer?
Mine was the Imperial Ginger Beer by Southern Tier! I love anything ginger, and to all other breweries, and say, "More ginger-y beers, please and thank you!" I know this is controversial, but I also really liked the cranberry beer, Bog Sauce by Toolbox Brewing Company. Fruity and delicious!

3. What was the best food truck?
I did not partake of the fun food options this time around, but our friends were big fans of the empanadas!

4. Did you see the guy in the flamingo suit?
Also known as Rodney, on the way to a party! Related question: did you see the guy in the t-shirt that sported a giant print of Steve Buscemi's face?

5. Are you ready for the fall brewest?
The 20th Annual Kennett Brewfest is coming to town on Saturday, September 30! Follow on Facebook to get all the details - the countdown is on! Cheers!

Thanks to Historic Kennett Square for providing complimentary tickets for my husband and me!
